Job Summary

Client Consumer†s Data Scientists combine technical expertise with business acumen to support data-driven decisions that align with financial and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Process and analyze data using tools such as Python, PySpark, and Databricks.
  • Build and refine predictive models, including purchase propensity and product recommendation models.
  • Translate insights into business decisions by collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Support strategic initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience and improve business profitability.
Required Qualifications
  • 0â€"3 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field.
  • Master†s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with statistical software and database languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in a quantitative discipline.
  • Experience applying data science techniques to improve business outcomes and customer experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries: PySpark, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, Matplotlib, lifelines.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques such as:
  • Frequentist and Bayesian statistics
  • Forecasting and optimization
  • Causal inference
  • Machine learning and NLP
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience working with AWS S3 for data storage and retrieval.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications (if any)
  • No formal certifications required; relevant data science or cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Data Scientist Associate) are a plus.
