Data Scientist Sr Advisor

Deliver insights to help our clients turn data into action as a Data Scientist Sr Advisor at GDIT. Your work will provide transformative solutions to our clients' big-data obstacles and help advance the mission. Here, you can make a meaningful impact on our clients' mission and on your career.

HOW A DATA SCIENTIST SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Perform scientific work associated with the analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets; develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges

Design and develop scalable intelligent document processing pipelines

Design and develop scalable compliance and risk frameworks

Lead the implementation and configuration of Azure cloud services, adhering to best practices and security standards

Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like BICEP to streamline cloud deployments

Establish data interfaces and ingestion processing frameworks with source data systems

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelors of Science, Masters of Science is a plus

Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience

Required Technical Skills:

Familiarity with Azure AI Search, Vectorization, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Dataverse

Security Clearance Level: Active secret or higher

Preferred Skills: Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), retrieval augmented generation (RAG), natural language processing (NLP), vector embeddings and optimization techniques are a plus

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
