Job Summary:
  • We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist with a strong background in Image Processing, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning (ML) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building intelligent systems that can analyze, interpret, and process visual data at scale. This role involves working on challenging image-related projects that drive innovation and value across our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement ML and deep learning models for image classification, segmentation, detection, and enhancement
  • Apply image processing techniques such as filtering, edge detection, morphological operations, and feature extraction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver image analysis solutions
  • Preprocess and augment image datasets for training and evaluation
  • Leverage computer vision libraries and deep learning frameworks for prototyping and deployment
  • Evaluate and optimize models for accuracy, speed, and robustness
  • Stay current with the latest research and technologies in computer vision and image processing
  • Present findings and models to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision or image processing projects
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as OpenCV, PIL, and Scikit-image
  • Expertise with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
  • Familiarity with CNNs, object detection (e.g., YOLO, SSD, Faster R-CNN), and image segmentation (e.g., U-Net, Mask R-CNN)
  • Experience in training and deploying ML/DL models in production
  • Proficiency in handling large datasets and image preprocessing techniques
  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts behind image analysis and machine learning
