Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Data Scientist III to support operations in Augusta, GA. This role involves developing strategies to extract meaning and value from large datasets. You will apply mathematical, statistical, and programming methods to analyze and assess data in various states of organization, cleanliness, and structure. The position requires translating mission needs into technical requirements and effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement data science techniques to analyze large datasets
Translate analytic questions into technical requirements
Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
Recommend solutions based on understanding of data limitations and mission context
Employ methods from mathematics, statistics, and computer science to support analysis

Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Citizenship Required
Active TS/SCI FSP Clearance Required

Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree with 10+ years of relevant experience OR Associates degree with 12+ years
Relevant degree fields include:
Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or physical/biological sciences with advanced math/computer science coursework
Certificate in Data Science may be considered with broader degrees
Experience in:
Machine learning, data modeling, statistical analysis, programming (e.g., Python), data mining, software engineering
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience in multiple areas of data science and analytics
Familiarity with NSA/CSS data systems and capabilities
