Strategic Analysis Inc. is seeking Data Scientists/Analysts to support the AFWERX Program Management Office (PMO) in its mission to maximize participation in Department of the Air Force (DAF) acquisitions and facilitate the transfer and transition of innovative technologies to the warfighter and commercial sector. Responsibilities:
• Gather and analyze requirements through working with various stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear and concise requirements for IT projects and initiatives by conducting interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather information and document processes. ?
• Analyze existing workflows and identify and document areas for improvement and optimization by streamlining processes, automating tasks, and suggesting and implementing new technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. ?
• Assist project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects by developing project plans, tracking progress, managing risks, and communicating with stakeholders. ?
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making by creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to leadership and other stakeholders. ?
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their potential value and applicability to the AFWERX mission by attending and/or participating in industry events, reading research papers, and conducting pilot projects. Qualifications: ?
• Active SECRET clearance. ?
• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

• Proven experience in data analysis, database management, and data visualization.

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, and SQL.

• Experience with machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. ?

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights for non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Desired Qualifications:
