Job Summary

Minnesota Housing is hiring. We're a mission-focused financial institution looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst. The Data and Reporting Analyst position exists to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and usability, supporting critical decision-making and operational efficiency within the Multifamily division. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across teams, solve complex data challenges, and make a significant impact by optimizing data management and reporting processes. Essential Job Duties
•   Coordinate the Multifamily data management plan, identifying gaps, performing Structured Query Language (SQL) queries, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems.
•   Lead the development and maintenance of data quality control procedures and coordinate Multifamily data stewards to conduct regular data reviews and ensure continuous improvement of data practices.
•   Develop and maintain reports, queries, and dashboards to analyze trends and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
•   Provide backup support for Request for Proposals (RFP) application development, including coding, testing, and optimizing solutions.
•   Execute data requests from internal divisions and external stakeholders, maintaining consistent reporting standards and methods.
•   Assist with implementing quick wins to improve operational efficiency, including preventing data silos and creating prototypes for one-off tools.
•   Audit, clean, and standardize large datasets, supporting effective data integration and system compatibility.
•   Serve as the subject matter expert for business intelligence tools, providing guidance and training to users.
•   Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

To be qualified for and considered for this position, applicants must meet all of the minimum qualifications listed below. Only applicants whose resumes clearly demonstrate fulfillment of each of these minimum qualifications will be considered for this position.
•   Two (2) years of experience in data analysis and reporting, including SQL, data auditing, and Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes. A Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, or a related field may substitute for 12 months of experience.
•   Strong knowledge of data management principles, including the ability to clean, standardize, and ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple systems.
•   Demonstrated experience in report design and development, including complex query writing and dashboard creation using business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
•   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience creating and maintaining advanced workbooks, working with Visual Basics for Applications (VBA), and developing tools to extract and aggregate data from multiple source files.
•   Experience coordinating data quality control activities and supporting data stewards in performing structured data reviews.
•   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot data issues, resolve discrepancies, and improve reporting processes.
•   Ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical users and work collaboratively across teams to align data practices with business goals. Preferred Qualifications
