We are seeking a seasoned Data Quality Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This is a permanent position, perfect for a detail-oriented professional who has a passion for data integrity and a knack for identifying trends and patterns. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality, accuracy, and consistency of data to support our sales initiatives. This role is integral to our organization as it ensures we have precise data to make informed decisions, drive growth, and enhance the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Data Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing and implementing data quality standards and processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
2. Reviewing and validating data on a regular basis to identify and rectify any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
3. Collaborating with the sales and IT teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
4. Providing technical guidance and training to team members on data management best practices and tools.
5. Conducting regular data audits to ensure compliance with internal and external data quality standards.
6. Creating detailed reports on data quality metrics, data usage, and data integrity issues for management review.
7. Leading data cleansing initiatives to remove or correct inaccurate records.
8. Working closely with the sales team to understand their data needs and ensure they have access to accurate, high-quality data.
9. Participating in the design and implementation of new systems and processes to enhance data quality.
10. Staying abreast of industry trends and advancements in data management technologies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a data management role, with a focus on data quality.
3. Proven experience with data quality management tools and methodologies.
4. Strong understanding of data management principles, including data modeling, data cleansing, and data governance.
5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data quality issues effectively.
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical team members.
8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
9. Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
10. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high levels of data accuracy.
11. Knowledge of the sales industry and its data needs would be a plus.
