Job Description:

Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled Developer to join our team in a remote role.
• The ideal candidate will support our reporting platforms by developing visualizations and in-house solutions.
• A strong business insights mindset combined with a development background is essential for enabling customized reporting solutions, troubleshooting, and providing DevOps support.
• Expertise in industry-standard applications and database theory is critical to optimizing workflow and data delivery to the shop floor.

Responsibilities:

• Implement an end-to-end vision for presenting production data within a Python-based analysis platform.
• Build and deploy datasets based on user requirements with a focus on quality and relational integrity.
• Provide clear data lineage, proper documentation, and organization.
• Support DevOps practices and contribute to a robust deployment infrastructure.
• Assist with sprint schedules, support tickets, and bug tracking.
• Develop data visualizations and reporting solutions based on user feedback.
• Collaborate with engineers and PCIT developers to create business-driven reports.
• Engage in 50% new development and 50% system maintenance.

Skills:

• Experience managing complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of data governance concepts and their implementation.
• Proficiency in Python, Django, Java, DevOps, SQL (MSSQL, NoSQL), Data Modeling.
• ETL process experience; Denodo/data virtualization experience preferred.
• Familiarity with deployment processes and Tableau setup/dashboard creation.
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing interaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Associate degree with relevant experience also acceptable).
• 4-6 years of relevant experience.
