Data Operations Coordinator

Full Time Hourly

Perform data management, analysis, and reporting tasks to contribute to a variety of strategically important initiatives across the organization. Well versed in SQL and Excel with the ability to create queries to extract data from multiple sources. Develop and improve processes and best practices for data handling, cleansing, and maintenance. Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a new reporting systems in support of various internal departments. Responsible for extracting specified audiences from internal databases for organizations' marketing efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
  1. Perform data quality assessment, data sources consolidation, aggregation, and other data manipulation using SQL statements, and enterprise-level data management platforms.
  2. Creates data queries via system user interface for the purpose of membership reports, audience lists for email marketing, and metrics for interval review.
  3. Develop and maintain existing data transfer processes and documentation from various systems.
  4. Develop expert knowledge of current DB architecture and ETL processes and recommend ongoing process improvements.
  5. Develop recommendations for data governance and business rules that will lead to improvements in data quality and follow those recommendations through to implementation.
  6. Keep up to date on new data capture and privacy laws that impact the organization.
  7. Work closely with various teams to ensure new online forms are tested for accurate import of data, coding, source, and other necessary field mappings.
  8. Employ expert knowledge of SQL and BI applications to design, execute, and ensure the quality of automated reports, dashboards, and ad hoc requests for internal review by stakeholders.
  9. Develop and maintain queries of various re-occurring and one-time-use mailing/emailing lists to support all marketing campaigns.
  10. Manage SEMA and PRI magazine circulation process by generating monthly mailing lists and processing returned mailing info into our database.
  11. Perform ad hoc analysis and database querying as needed.
  12. Other duties assigned as needed.
RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to IT Data Analyst

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or similar technology-related field.
  2. At least three years' experience manipulating large datasets, using databases, and 1-3 years' experience with a structured programming language.
  3. 3+ years' experience in database management, direct and/or email marketing.
  4. 2+ years relevant work experience in data analytics and data quality assurance
  5. Experience with data discovery, profiling, cleansing, and standardization.
  6. Working knowledge of data quality processes, including parsing, analysis, standardization, and data enrichment.
  7. Working knowledge of Master Data Management concepts.
  8. Strong SQL skills and a deep understanding of table relationships.
  9. Proven ability to query data across structured and unstructured data sets.
  10. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
  11. Strong attention to detail with the ability to think strategically.
  12. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  13. Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to effectively convey complex and data-related concepts to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
  14. Strong procedural documentation skills.
  15. Understanding of reporting techniques, tools, and methods.
  16. Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, if statements, etc )
  17. Experience with business intelligence/reporting/analytics platforms such as MS Power Bi and Google Looker Studio.
  18. Working knowledge of Google Analytics.
  19. Working knowledge of enterprise-level ESP (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, etc ) a plus.
  20. Experience with Address and Database Cleansing tools a plus.
  21. Working knowledge of CRM or AMS systems, NetForum experience a plus.

Salary Range: This position's estimated annual base salary is $52,000-$69,000. Actual base salary will be dependent on individual's skills, qualifications, and experience. This role is eligible for 401k Savings plan, Healthcare (medical, dental and vision), and other generous rewards and benefits.
