Job Summary:

A leading global healthcare company is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions by managing the end-to-end data transfer process. This role involves close collaboration with global stakeholders, buyers, and sellers to ensure the smooth migration, validation, and governance of critical data assets in high-value deals. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data management, project coordination, and process standardization within a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with global business and IT stakeholders to facilitate seamless data management processes during M&A transactions.
Partner with Technical Leads to develop and implement data transfer strategies that align with business and regulatory requirements.
Oversee data mapping, documentation, ingestion, transfer, and verification for multi-million-dollar transactions.
Track and report data transfers in Smartsheet , monitor project costs, and ensure compliance with project timelines.
Support the decommissioning and archival of applications , ensuring data integrity and regulatory adherence.
Contribute to the standardization of tools, processes, playbooks, and methodologies to enhance efficiency in acquisitions and divestitures (A&D).

Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in data management, M&A transactions, or IT project management , preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry .
Proficiency in Smartsheet or other project tracking tools.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to bridge technical and business teams .
Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and application lifecycle management is a plus.
