We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Management Intern to join our team in Foxborough, MA for Summer 2025.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in employee database management, TP discount processes, functional support documentation, R&D dashboard enhancement, and R&D project allocations and rankings. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various function leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Database Management:
  • Assist in cleaning up the employee Head Count Details file.
  • Help ascertain the headcount list by managerial scope and profit center grouping.
  • Support the standardization of the headcount list by function for each manager, including cost of origin details.
TP Discount Process:
  • Contribute to data information which can help to assess the TP
  • Assist in ascertaining profitability by products at each country level.
  • Help update existing profit versus discount levels.
  • Propose revisions of discounts within the overall entity profitability.
Documentation of Functional Support at PA LOB:
  • Work with various function leaders at PA LOB level to understand the support provided to operations.
  • Detail the support to align with orders, sales, and margin.
  • Assist in ascertaining the total cost of each function and developing allocation methodologies to recharge the cost of these functions to operations.
R&D Dashboard Enhancement:
  • Help determine the effectiveness of the current R&D dashboard.
  • Propose revisions to amplify the R&D dashboard, aligning with the PMO.
  • Create a cadence for reporting the dashboard.
  • Develop a process for calculating the Vitality Index for EP&P, EAE, etc.
R&D Head Projects Allocations and Ranking:
  • Document details of headcounts along with their recharging details.
  • Assist in revising man-hour costing of R&D resources (permanent and contractors).
  • Evaluate various R&D projects and collaborate with stakeholders to rank the importance of R&D projects based on man-hour allocations.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Well versed with ERP and financial management systems
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to various projects.
  • Ability to work 3+ days per week in office based in Foxborough for Summer 2025
