The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Data Management and Operations Manager to join the team in Berkeley, MO; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Ridley Park, PA; Seal Beach, CA; or Seattle, WA .

Join the Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) organization as a motivated and results-oriented manager to lead our Data Management and Operations team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone passionate about data warehousing, Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes, and data operations, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.

In this pivotal role, you will manage data products, oversee supplier relationships, ensure financial accountability, and lead a talented team. Position Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and lead a diverse team of data experts across regions
  • Triage ETL programs, conducting root cause analysis and corrective action plans
  • Oversee a portfolio of data projects across various functions within Boeing
  • Manage multiple data warehouses across cloud and on-premises
  • Lead vendor management processes using measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for performance evaluation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data products and infrastructure
  • Define, track, and report on KPIs for data management, including system health and user satisfaction
  • Oversee data platform health, managing incident response and using predictive insights to prevent incidents
  • Enable self-service access to performance insights leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain on-call schedule, coordinating absences and ensuring continuous support
  • Develop effective communication strategies to articulate data value to executives
  • Establish best practices for data handling, storage, and usage
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Change Governance, Root Cause Analysis, Operational Risk, System and Networking Architecture, DevOps & Cloud Operations
  • 5+ years of experience with development and integration of programs, plans, strategies, processes, and KPIs to track progress to and enable attainment of business goals
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture relating specifically to Data platforms and technologies
  • 5+ years of experience with ITIL Service Management
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and integrating big data platforms
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing a team
  • Experience deploying Artificial Intelligence algorithms into a production environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Certification in Data Warehousing/Data Architecture/Bigdata/AWS Cloud
  • Experience in data integration expertise with SAP ECC/SAP S4
  • Experience handling a global teams with large team members including suppliers
  • Experience in AI and Agentic AI
  • Experience with Data Platform Modernization

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $123,250 - $178,250
