Data Harvester Lead About the Role: We're looking for a technically adept and organized leader to serve as both Scrum Master and team lead for our Data Harvesting Team. In this role, you'll lead a cross-functional team responsible for acquiring, processing, and ensuring the quality of large-scale data sets that feed critical business systems and visualization pipelines. This includes oversight of ETL processes, hands-on scripting in Python, and implementation of data quality best practices. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Data Harvesting Team in organizing and executing data acquisition workflows
  • Oversee ETL processes, ensuring clean, structured, and timely ingestion of diverse data sources
  • Guide team through Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
  • Manage team capacity and priorities while removing blockers and optimizing workflow efficiency
  • Write and review Python scripts and tools to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to define data requirements
  • Monitor and improve data quality, identifying and resolving inconsistencies or gaps
  • Maintain documentation for data harvesting standards, pipelines, and quality control procedures
  • Provide reporting on team performance, data health metrics, and backlog progress
Qualifications:
  • Experience leading Agile teams; Scrum Master certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline design
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience in scripting for data manipulation and automation
  • Familiarity with data quality assessment techniques and QA for large data sets
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and balance technical priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with an ability to work cross-functionally
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with metadata management, product catalogs, or digital asset management
  • Understanding of 3D visualization pipelines or data preparation for visual rendering
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms or tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Apache Airflow, etc.)
  • Background in furniture, manufacturing, or design-related industries
