Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data Governance and Information Architecture Partner. This role will be responsible for partnering with specific data domains to identify critical data needs, define data models and architecture, identify master systems of records, and ensure all information is documented and integrated into our data catalog and master data management system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer-facing architecture, data or information architecture, and data engineering principles. Experience with Enterprise Data Catalog and Enterprise Master Data Management solutions and applications is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

-Partner with specific data domains to identify and understand critical data needs through interactions and meetings.

-Work collaboratively to define data models and architecture that meet the identified needs.

-Identify master systems of records and ensure their integration into the data catalog and master data management system.

-Collaborate with team members to document all relevant information and ensure it is accurately reflected in the data catalog and master data management system.

-Provide expertise in data governance and information architecture to support the development and implementation of data strategies.

-Ensure data quality and stewardship capabilities are established and maintained within the data domains.

-Act as a liaison between data domains and the broader data governance team to ensure alignment and consistency in data management practices.

Skills and Requirements

-8+ years of experience in customer-facing architecture roles.

-Strong background in data or information architecture.

-In depth understanding of data engineering principles.

-Proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field -Experience with Enterprise Data Catalog and Enterprise Master Data Management solutions and applications

-Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices.

-Familiarity with data quality management and data stewardship.

-Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to data management.
