Referral Eligible Compensation: $90-105K annually depending upon experience. Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Governance Analyst for an on-site position in Monterey, CA. This role will work cross-functionally to implement and enforce data governance and quality standards, manage and maintain the enterprise data catalog, perform ongoing data quality assessments, and support key data initiatives across the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data governance frameworks and enforce data quality standards.
Manage the enterprise data catalog, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and completeness of metadata.
Conduct data profiling, validation, and cleansing activities to ensure data integrity across systems.
Define, monitor, and report on data quality metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Support data management initiatives, including Master Data Management (MDM) and data lifecycle practices.
Contribute to the development and optimization of ETL processes for integrating data from multiple sources.
Analyze datasets using tools such as SQL, Excel, and Python to identify trends, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
Provide subject matter expertise in data governance and quality best practices. Job Qualifications: Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance best practices.
Strong knowledge of data quality assessment techniques and data cleansing processes.
Proficient in data profiling and validation methodologies.
Ability to define and implement data quality metrics and KPIs.
Proficient in SQL, Excel, and/or Python for data analysis.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
Experience supporting or working with ETL processes and data integration workflows.
CompTIA Security+ certification, demonstrating a commitment to security and compliance standards. Education/Experience include:
