Pay Range: $65,231.14 to $97,846.58

Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

Kwik Trip's Data Governance Office has a unique opportunity for an experienced full time Data Governance Analyst. In this position you will be responsible for driving improvements to the established Data Governance Program through data governance policy and standards development, supporting governance compliance efforts, and implementation of metadata management software for data inventory, report catalog, data classification, lineage, and governance workflows. You will work with various business and technical teams to foster development and adoption of new processes, guidelines, and standards. You will be responsible for the ongoing development data governance policies and processes that shape the future of Kwik Trip's Data Governance program.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and enhance existing governance policy, protocols, and processes to strengthen governance posture. Develop new policy as needed to support ongoing business initiatives.

• Collaborate with security, technical, and business teams to foster ongoing alignment and compliance with implemented policies.

• Serve as subject matter expert for data governance policy and protocols in the organization.

• Perform periodic audits to ensure ongoing compliance to implemented governance protocols.

• Reviewing data sharing, software, and integration requests to determine business and data-related requirements, ensuring data security compliance and best practices are utilized.

• Assist in development and delivery of data governance literacy efforts throughout the enterprise.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to successfully implement Data Intelligence Platform/Data Catalog in the enterprise.

• Identify, understand, and document requirements, processes, and workflows for metadata platform. Translate these requirements into technical work items as needed.

• Manage and maintain backlog prioritization and issue tracking with technical analysts.

• Provide exceptional service to our internal business teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Management, Information Systems, or related field

• Required: 3-5 years' experience in Data Governance or Data Management

• CDMP Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification

• Expertise in governance, compliance, or metadata management

• Demonstrated experience with project leadership, with specific experience implementing technology solutions

• Experience with agile software project management tools and methodology preferred

• Detail-oriented, strategic thinking, organization skills, and a drive for quality and accuracy of results

• Work extremely well with others to build and leverage diverse relationships to work towards a common goal

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to facilitate discussions with a variety of teams

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft business tools

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours; weekends as needed
