A-V Services Inc., a leading AV company with multiple fortune 100 contracts within the financial, pharmaceutical and computing industry, seeks a Data Entry Clerk. Must have great customer service with emphasis supporting the corporate work sector. A Data Entry Clerk for AV Services, Inc. will be responsible for inputting, validating, and maintaining data. This role involves working with various data systems and platforms to ensure seamless data management and integrity.


Objectives:

  • Audits system data to guarantee compliance, accuracy, and duplication management.
  • Execute and follow standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency in data handling.
  • Present a professional image, fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
  • Data integrity and verification

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project meetings and proactively suggest improvements to enhance data processes and system efficiency.
  • Input data into databases, spreadsheets, and other digital forms, ensuring all information is correct and up to date.
  • Assisting with generating reports and summaries from data as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory tracking, ensuring all records are current and reflect real-time data.
  • Perform manual data validation to cross-check information across multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Uphold confidentiality and security of sensitive information throughout all data handling practices, adhering to best practices and company policies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for regional team questions and concerns, providing clear and effective communication.

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst role or similar position, with a proven track record of data management success.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to leverage advanced features for data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling, ensuring high-quality data outputs.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to data issues, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Certifications in Tableau, Alteryx, or Python are a plus, offering opportunities for professional growth and development.
