Gridiron IT is looking to hire a Data Engineer to support a government program. Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS. Help ensure data is accessible, reliable, and efficiently processed to support business analytics and decision-making. Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into our AWS data platform.

• Support the implementation and optimization of data models, databases, and data warehouses.

• Help ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency by performing data validation and cleansing tasks.

• Collaborate with senior data engineers to optimize data storage and retrieval using AWS services such as Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue, and Athena.

• Write and maintain automation scripts and tools for data processing and monitoring.

• Work with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and assist in delivering data solutions.

• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.

• Document processes, configurations, and best practices for data engineering tasks.
Skills

• Experience in data engineering, preferably with AWS.

• Basic knowledge of AWS data services such as Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue, and Athena.

• Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture principles. Qualifications Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's Degree
7+ years of experience Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS.
Experience with Cloud, AWS, Data Platforms, Microservices
