Job Title: Data Engineer (Neo4J Graph Developer) - Contract - JobLocation: Remote Hybrid Troy, MI
(2-4 days per month onsite for key project meetings)
Job Description: Our client based in Troy, MI has an immediate requirement for a Data Engineer with strong Neo4J Development skills. The selected candidate will possess a strong passion for designing, optimizing, refactoring, and upgrading complex Neo4J Graph data solutions using automated pipelines.
Responsibilities: - Analyze large, and complex, data sets
- Design, develop and coordinate the generation of ETL data pipelines
- Model complex data sets in Graph technology (Neo4j)
- Work collaboratively with team to plan and solve complex problems
- Design for, or optimize existing pipelines, for performance EEO EMPLOYER
Required: - 4+ years of experience working Neo4j Graph Databases
- Demonstrated Hands-on Development
- Expert in Graph Modeling o Expert in Ingestion o Expert in Cypher / APOC
2+ Years of experience with ETL pipelines - Kettle and/or Apache Hop, SSIS, Talend
- 1+ Year of Experience Ingesting Data into Neo4j
- Strong Automation Experience
- Experience with AWS o Lambda Functions o Step Functions / State Machines o Fargate / Containers o S3 / Data Lake
- Experience with Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD (CloudFormation)
- Experience with Larger Data Sets (Multiple Terabytes)
- Experience with Automotive Data / Industry
- Experience with Agile / Scrum Primary
