What You'll Do
- Build and optimize large-scale, low-latency streaming pipelines using tools like Kafka, Flink, and Spark
- Design and maintain data lakes and data warehouse integrations using Snowflake, Redshift, and S3
- Write clean, modular code using Python, Scala, or Java to process and transform high-volume datasets
- Develop resilient data systems with a focus on fault tolerance, observability, and cloud-native scalability
- Collaborate with product managers and backend engineers to deliver meaningful data products that power user experiences
- Apply CI/CD principles and partner with cyber teams to ensure data security and governance
- Mentor peers and contribute to our engineering culture of experimentation and learning
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of software or data engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL in a production environment
- Familiarity with streaming data architectures and tools like Kafka or Flink
- Experience deploying cloud-native data solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years in application/data engineering using Python, Scala, or Java
- 2+ years with distributed data platforms like Spark, Flink, or Kafka
- Experience with real-time processing and NoSQL systems (e.g., DynamoDB, OpenSearch)
- Proficient in Linux shell scripting and CI/CD best practices
- Experience with Snowflake or Redshift and data warehousing at scale
