Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, develop, test, and enhance software components to deliver robust platforms and solutions, using modern programming languages and development methodologies.
  • Build and maintain tools, platforms, and utilities that meet performance, reliability, and service-level expectations.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using infrastructure as code, version control, and automated deployment practices.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing systems to ensure reliability and operational excellence.
  • Partner with the Data Warehouse Architect to align on platform strategy and execution.
  • Design and optimize scalable data pipelines with tools such as Airflow, Snowflake, and AWS cloud services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure technical solutions meet business objectives.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including test plans, training materials, and delivery artifacts.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience delivering data-driven platforms with large-scale datasets, low-latency requirements, and high data integrity.
  • Direct experience with market and credit counterparty risk platforms (required).
  • Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
  • Strong background in AWS, Airflow, and Snowflake.
  • Comfortable working in agile development environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with CI/CD workflows and automated deployment practices.
  • Able to work independently-writing quality code, reviewing pull requests, and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
