Description

Key Responsibilities
AI Platform Engineering & Operations
Engineer and operate AI platforms including Dataiku, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Textract, Comprehend, and A2I.
Automate and manage deployments, upgrades, and scaling of AI services and tools to meet growing business needs.
Administer and govern enterprise use of LLM APIs, including provisioning and rotation of API keys, monitoring usage patterns, enforcing rate limits and access controls, and ensuring alignment with security, privacy, and compliance standards.
Provide support for AI platform incidents, performance issues, and user onboarding.
AWS Infrastructure & Automation
Design and maintain AWS infrastructure supporting AI and data platforms (e.g., EC2, EKS, IAM, SSM, S3, networking).
Implement infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines for repeatable deployments.
Monitor and optimize platform performance and availability across AWS-hosted services.
Cross-Platform Support and Alignment
Collaborate with engineers supporting data ingestion, data engineering, and data intelligence platforms to ensure architectural alignment and integrated operations.
Participate in enterprise-level planning and execution for DR/HA strategies, cost transparency/TCO tracking, performance SLAs, and DevOps automation across all platform layers.

Security & Governance
Implement secure configurations, RBAC policies, audit logging, and encryption standards for AI and data platforms.
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements by working closely with Security and Governance teams.

Collaboration & Innovation
Partner with Data Science, Analytics, DevOps, and Architecture teams to enable use cases leveraging AI platforms and foundational data infrastructure.
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and services that support enterprise AI maturity and platform resiliency.

Qualifications
5+ years experience in data or platform engineering roles, with deep experience in AI platform operations and cloud infrastructure.

Expertise in:
Dataiku setup and administration
AWS AI/ML services - Bedrock, Textract, Comprehend, and IDP workflows
OpenAI API/platform integration and security management
AWS infrastructure - EC2, EKS, IAM, VPCs, Lambda, S3, SSM
Infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation), scripting (Python/Bash)
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS), containerization, and enterprise observability tooling (CloudWatch, Prometheus)
Understanding of enterprise TCO management, DR/HA architecture, and platform landscape management

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $115.00/hr.
