Data Engineer III

Pay rate range - $78/hr. to $82/hr. on W2

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role

• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines

• Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of SQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or other quantitative fields

• Experience with Apache Airflow to design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines

• Proven success in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe data modeling decisions and data engineering strategy

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, BI Engineer, or Systems Analyst in a company with large, complex data sources.

• Experience working with AWS big data technologies (EMR, Redshift, S3, Glue, Kinesis and Lambda)

• Experience coding for automation (e.g., Python, R)

• Experience and proficiency in using Excel

The person in this position will play a key role in developing analytical solutions that provide information and insights needed to drive roadmap and investment decisions across the org.
In this role, you will build data engineering solutions end-to-end. You will utilize emerging technologies to develop new data infrastructure that is scalable and efficient.
You will collaborate with various teams to identify data sources and develop data pipelines that will be leveraged by the BI and Data Science teams for report development and ML modeling.
