Data Engineer III

Design, build and test end to end data pipeline including data ingestion, data integration, and data curation, including streaming, events, and batch. Build and support BI tools platform on the cloud. Define and implement visualization and reporting of jobs. Support mission critical applications and near real time data needs from the data platform. Build and support reusable framework to ingest, integration and provision data. Capture and publish metadata and new data to subscribed users. Participate in design and code reviews. Create physical data models.
The position is fixed location based in Framingham office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm.

The experience and education requirements are:

Six (6) years of experience in MicroStrategy.

Must have five (5) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

- Data Analysis
- ETL
- Informatica
- SSRS
- Implementing ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it according to business requirements, and load it into data warehouses or data lakes
- Data modeling concepts and experience in optimizing data models for performance and scalability
- Identify performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues effectively
- Deriving actionable insights from large datasets
- Translating business requirements into analytical solutions to support decision-making processes

Must have four (4) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

- Power BI and Power BI Report Builder
- Data Modeling
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to Build and Support BI tools platform on the cloud
- Monitoring data pipelines and systems
- Performing exploratory data analysis (EDA)

Must have three (3) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

- Tableau
- Report Migration from Cognos, SSRS to Power BI using Power BI Report

Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

- Python
Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or a directly related field
