Data Center Technician with Security Clearance

Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Data Center Technician II to provide support to our Federal Client located in Huntsville, AL. You will be responsible for the installation of various types of Information Technology (IT) hardware devices and cabling in a data center environment. This position requires the intermediate knowledge of data center hardware and systems to include the ability to interpret the manufacturer's guides for installation into data center racks, the understanding of space, power, and cooling requirements, as well as mounting hardware specifications. This requires an active TOP SECRET clearance and is onsite in Huntsville, AL. Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of of data center hardware and cable installation experience
Possess knowledge of National Standards as pertaining to Data Center IT infrastructure including Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI), Telecommunications Industry Association TIA-606 and TIA-942.
Knowlege of (BICSI) Installer 2 for both Copper (INSTC) and Fiber (INSTF)
Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) A+ certification is required
An associate degree or vocational degree in Information Technology Systems is preferred.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI-CI Poly eligibility
