Responsibilities (Text Only)
  1. Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring while promoting a positive and effective team culture.
  2. Be accountable for overall data center service compliance and quality.
  3. Provide guidance on and ensure team adherence to Data Center Services (DCS) business unit and service-level policies, procedures, deadlines, and service-change policies.
  4. Ensure technicians are trained on procedures for installation, deployment, replacement, and post-execution quality checks.
  5. Verify that post-execution quality checks are performed appropriately by technicians and take corrective actions as needed.
  6. Escalate issues through appropriate channels, follow up on resolution, and share knowledge related to issue resolution with relevant teams.
  7. Review process changes to evaluate their impact on service execution and communicate relevant information to stakeholders across functions and disciplines.
  8. Lead team and triage meetings, prioritize work, and adjust priorities to respond to changing needs.
  9. Complete required safety training, conduct daily safety briefings, and participate in on-site safety committees.
  10. Ensure technicians and vendor resources comply with all safety procedures, including PPE usage, equipment handling, lifting, electrical hazards, and ladder/rolling stair use.
  11. Promote a safety culture, empowering technicians to act, speak up, and report safety concerns or incidents.
  12. Maintain pride and accountability for service quality, completeness, and customer experience, demonstrating ownership of data center facilities.
  13. Embody the company's culture and values.
Qualifications (Text Only)
  1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with basic knowledge of computer hardware and components, and experience supporting IT equipment or related technology, or related experience working with technical teams.
  2. Experience in directing, supervising, or managing teams.
  3. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years.
  4. Preferred qualifications include:
    1. Associate degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
    2. Experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
    3. Experience working in a production, mission-critical 24x7x365 data center environment.
    4. Applicable certifications such as ITIL Foundation, ASICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA A+, Server+, Network+, Basic Structure Cabling (BSC), Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Six Sigma Green Belt.
    5. Experience leading diverse, technical, or IT workforce of up to ten employees.
