Data Center Technician

Job Description

The Data Center Technician is responsible for ensuring successful installation and maintenance of IT Infrastructure as well as on-going administration of all Data Center, MDF and IDF equipment and support systems. The Data Center Technician is a highly detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.

Skills and Requirements

-3+ years' experience installing and maintaining IT Infrastructure

-Experience installing, supporting and maintaining UPS and Rack Power Systems

-Capable of independently running and terminating copper and fiber within Data Centers

-Experience with Asset and Infrastructure Change -Management processes

-Ability to conduct asset tagging, labeling and tracking

Experience Surveying data centers and inventorying equipment

-Experience participating in Audit and Compliance activates and reporting for Data Centers

-Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

-High school diploma

-Will need to travel about 10% null
