As a Data Center Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's extensive server and infrastructure fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center HVAC, electrical work, troubleshooting server/network equipment, racking equipment, and neat cabling. This role also involves coordinating installations and repairs at the local site with external vendors, requiring excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities: - Electrical work, including Switchboards, Switchgear, Diesel Generators, Power Distribution, and UPS/Uninterruptible Power Supplies.
- HVAC, including Cooling Towers, Chillers, CRAC, CRAH, CDU, Dry Coolers, Liquid Cooling, and working under ASHRAE standards.
- IT Equipment - Racking and stacking, cabling, troubleshooting hardware issues.
Requirements: - +1 years of experience as a licensed electrician and/or working in industrial HVAC.
- Military experience in a role supporting critical environments is highly preferred.
- Experience working in a data center on the facilities side (power and cooling infrastructure), as opposed to technology.
