High-Level Project Goals
• Deploy data center network infrastructure (Cisco - ACI, Nexus switches, ASR routers, FirePower firewalls, VMware NSX, F5 Load Balancers) including racking and cabling.
• Configure and test the network infrastructure.
• Migration of legacy network connectivity to new infrastructure.
• Decommission legacy network equipment. Position - Data Center Technician to provide support for the Data Center Operation team by racking & stacking, cabling, and maintaining infrastructure in the data centers. The Technician will be responsible for:
• Installing and cabling equipment in the data centers based on design documents
• Update and maintain DCIM tool and documentation
• Uninstalling and removing equipment
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues using various tools
• Performs day-to-day maintenance to keep the data center clean, safe, and secure
JOB DETAILS OUTLINE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

MANDATORY MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate must have minimally achieved the following level of experience:
• 4+ years of experience working in a data center supporting related work.
• Ability to perform physical work related to the job.
• 4+ years of experience in network support with LAN troubleshooting.
• 4+ experience using documentation tools (MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Word, Etc.)
PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in computer science from an accredited college.
• Prior education industry/project experience.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate in a credible and confident manner at all levels in the organization in clear, concise language.
• Familiarity with DIIT network standards for hardware and network connectivity.
