Data Center Network Engineer Position Overview: Agensys Corporation is seeking a skilled
Data Center Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, and maintain an enterprise-grade
data center network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with
data center network architectures , as well as some managerial and project management skills. This role requires expertise in
multiprotocol network devices, multilayer switches, network security devices, and network management systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
Our network infrastructure consists of
Cisco, F5, and other networking devices, with
WAN connectivity via IPSec and MPLS. Responsibilities: - Manage a DoD data center network infrastructure that includes Cisco applications (ISE & DNAC), Cisco network devices, F5 appliances, and RSA appliances.
- Design and implement scalable data center network solutions that optimize LAN/WAN/WLAN performance, capacity, and redundancy.
- Deploy and maintain network management and monitoring systems to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
- Install and configure switches, routers, and other networking devices for data center operations.
- Automate repetitive networking tasks and monitor system efficiency.
- Implement network security measures aligned with DoD and industry best practices.
- Conduct network performance assessments and integrity tests, generating reports on findings.
- Assist in the development and execution of network disaster recovery plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network-related support issues efficiently.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for data center operations.
- Collaborate with business partners and internal stakeholders to provide network engineering support.
- Manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.
Required Qualifications: - Active Security+ Certification
- Active CCNA Certification
- Experience with Cisco ISE
