Position Summary:

This pivotal role focuses on designing and managing the architecture for data migration projects, ensuring seamless and efficient data transfer between systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in database design, data migration processes, and best practices for maintaining data integrity, quality, and consistency. You will work closely with stakeholders, business units, and development teams to define and execute data migration strategies that align with both business objectives and technical requirements.

Data Analyst Job Requirements:
  • Provide accurate, task-based schedules to the Project Manager and deliver timely weekly updates on project progress.
  • Collaborate with clients and the project team to gain a thorough understanding of business requirements related to data migration.
  • Perform field mappings from legacy systems to Salesforce.
  • Conduct weekly data mapping meetings with clients to ensure data migration tasks stay on track.
  • Extract and transform data from various source types for migration into Salesforce.
  • Lead the migration of data from legacy databases into Salesforce using appropriate migration tools.
  • Validate and analyze data sets to ensure consistency and compliance with internal requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of database and migration changes.
  • Participate in client solution transitions and conduct training sessions as needed to ensure clients are fully prepared for system changes.
  • Keep informed of new developments within relevant technology domains to enhance data migration strategies and tools.
  • Work closely with the project team to develop a comprehensive data migration strategy tailored to the customer's needs.
  • Document current business processes and design system wireframes using tools like process flow diagrams and sequence diagrams.
  • Offer recommendations for improved future processes and system designs.
  • Utilize extensive experience in ETL processes, data transformations, SQL, and relational database management systems (RDBMS) to optimize data migrations
About You - Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.).
  • Minimum 3 years of strong experience with SQL or SOQL.
  • Certified Administrator or Platform Developer 1 certification required.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server, Oracle, SQL, and database scripting.
  • Experience with ETL processes and migration tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile methodology is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of working effectively with business and technical teams.
  • Service-oriented working attitude and strong client interaction skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Consulting background is a plus.
  • Must be open to travel to client sites as required.
  • Highly driven and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
