Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a
Data Architect on behalf of our client, a leading provider of home and business security systems and monitoring services across the Southeast. The Data Architect plays a critical role in designing, managing, and optimizing the organization's data infrastructure to support business goals, enhance system reliability, and ensure data integrity across platforms.
Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement data architecture strategies that support business intelligence, analytics, and system integrations
- Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and define architectural requirements
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across databases and systems
- Identify and implement improvements to data storage, processing, and reporting capabilities
- Provide guidance on data governance, best practices, and industry standards
- Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to support data architecture initiatives
Requirements Include: Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Master's degree preferred
Experience: - 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role
- Prior experience in a security systems or service-based business is a plus
Skills: - Proficiency with data modeling tools and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing solutions
- Familiarity with reporting and BI tools
Certifications: - Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, or similar preferred
Knowledge: - Deep understanding of data architecture principles, database management, and data security best practices
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to data handling and privacy

- Strategic thinking with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across teams
