Data & MI Manager
Our client is a bank based in Central London seeking to recruit a Data & MI Manager with at least 3 to 5 years of experience working with data.
The role involves ensuring effective data extraction and reporting capabilities within the bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate collation and management of client and transactional data across business units.
- Serve as the main contact for data-related matters within the branch.
- Prepare daily transaction monitoring reports for review.
- Generate monthly name screening files for Group Financial Crime Compliance to trigger AML alerts.
- Manage and track the master client information file alongside the CMS team.
- Produce reports on transaction volumes by business unit and client segment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Develop presentations, dashboards, and reports for project communication.
- Support the development and testing of data analytics for profiling, quality, and risk modeling.
- Provide recommendations on department policies based on MI insights.
- Manage business expectations, process performance, and continuous improvement activities.
- Participate in IT, Data, and Project committees for data-related insights.
- Support senior management and department heads as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Compliance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with SAS modeling platforms.
- Basic ETL programming skills (SQL, SAS, etc.) are essential.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant banking or compliance experience in established financial institutions.
- Knowledge of risk management practices and data modeling.
- Strong judgment in advising on regulation and compliance.
- Good presentation and influencing skills.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Statistics, Information Systems, or similar fields.

The salary range for this position is £45K - £60K.
