Data Analytics and Sales Program Manager

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Data Analytics and Sales Program Manager for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Handling ad hoc data requests and providing detailed data insights.
  • Working independently on data projects, including mapping data cubes and interpreting data.
  • Developing Power BI dashboards as needed.
  • Simplifying complex data and storytelling through PowerPoint presentations.
  • Performance will be assessed based on the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the quality of work.

Qualifications:
  • Years of Experience Required: 2-4 overall years of experience in the field.
  • Degrees or certifications required: A Bachelor's degree in data science, data analytics, or a related field. PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Advanced data skills (a major plus).
  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including finance, engineering, and product marketing teams.
  • Effective communication and storytelling skills to simplify complex data.
  • Experience in consumer sales or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to highlight past projects and provide work samples.
  • Business performance reporting (expertise with Excel, Power BI, SQL).

  • Advanced Excel Skills
    • Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF Functions
  • Financial acumen and ROI measurement
  • Advanced PowerPoint Skills
    • Ability to transform numbers into storytelling through visuals
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Power BI
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with advanced Excel (the ability to dig into data and generate insights)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with category fields, specifically consumer sales
