Active Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) What You Will Do : This Data Analyst role will work with a business office at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) to support analysis and management of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) data in accordance with DoD/Agency policies and requirements. This will include data visualization, business analytics, data management, and digital engineering processes. A strong understanding of Financial Management/PPBE and data analytics is essential to help the office effectively monitor and report on financial performance through reporting dashboards, tools, and the creation of data sets/key performance indicators. This role will be co-located with the client and requires excellent communication skills. Seeking a candidate with the ability to proactively identify program needs and help the office mature its visualizations and business analytics in line with technology/data solutions advancement. Specific duties will include: Apply extensive knowledge to integrate, develop, and maintain analytic models, visualizations, and tools to evaluate, analyze and communicate financial performance
Provide statistical and mathematical support
Develop and maintain Tableau dashboard visualizations to address business questions and cyclical financial reporting
Leverage a range of data sources via Tableau Server, Excel, and custom SQL queries
Provide insights that will be used to inform financial decisions
Brief financial statuses/reports and visualization tools to a range of audiences from staff to Executive level
Manage an inventory of implemented dashboards, other analytic products and current product backlog for implementation What You Will Need : An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" Federal or DoD security clearance. Once onboard with Guidehouse, new hire MUST be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph.
Bachelor's Degree; Five (5) years of additional working experience supporting data analysis
Some experience working with Government financial data, spend plans, or PPBE activities
Demonstrated experience developing dashboards in Tableau What Would Be Nice To Have : Experience working with Tableau Server and Tableau Prep
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify methods and approaches to expand and enhance the analytic capacity and ability of an existing portfolio
Demonstrated experience working with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) statistical software or tools for data visualization
Experience with SQL, MySQL, Python, SPSS, SAS, Visual Basic, or R to summarize statistical data and create documents, reports and presentations
