DATA ANALYST

JOB SUMMARY

Okland Construction is seeking a skilled and proactive data analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in data analytics, SQL, programming, API integration, and Power BI to transform complex data into actionable insights. This role also requires proficiency in Microsoft Fabric for advanced data analytics development. The data analyst will play a critical part in supporting our decision-making processes and driving operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
  • Perform light programming tasks to automate data processing and enhance reporting functionality.
  • Integrate and work with APIs to pull data from external sources into our systems.
  • Utilize Power BI to create visually appealing and actionable dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
  • Employ Microsoft Fabric tools for advanced data analytics development and ensure seamless integration into business processes.
  • Identify data trends, patterns, and anomalies to provide insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain and document data processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity across all analytics projects.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in SQL development and database management.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R, or others suitable for data analytics).
  • Strong knowledge of API integration and data extraction methodologies.
  • Expertise in Power BI, including dashboard creation, report generation, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric for data analytics development.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual projects.
