Position: Data Analyst Location - New York City, NY (Onsite)Mode of Hire: Contract Job Description: Must have: - CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool - Salesforce. Whatever customer, contact, leads, opportunities, orders all this information resides in the CRM database. Hence Salesforce application user experience in sales ops is important.
- To work with data, import, export, manipulate - SQL/SOQL skills is required.
- For Data analysis and insights, Advanced Excel/ Google spreadsheets would be required.
About the role: An ideal candidate for this role will be able to analyze complex data sets, generate insights and communicate with business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Must have relevant experience working with Salesforce (SFDC) reports and dashboards, SQL queries & advanced Google sheets/MS Excel. You can understand financial data, reconcile data sources, and communicate complex information. You are part of a dynamic sales operations team and have a successful track record working on with complex data and sales operations processes. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate async and meet virtually with internal customers.
Technical Skills Required:Query Languages: Proficient in SQL/SOQL, and analyzing data in the form of dashboards/ tables
Spreadsheets: Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel/ Google Spreadsheets
CRM: A Salesforce super user or an advanced business user of Salesforce (Lightning Version)
Collaboration/ Communication: Office 365, Chat/ Messaging Tools
Dashboards: Working proficiency in Tableau dashboards and knowledge of data modeling/warehousing
Roles & Responsibilities: - Analyze financial data including sales revenue, claims and incentives to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create reports and dashboards using Salesforce and other tools to present findings to internal stakeholders.
- Interpreting data presented in the form of tables, charts, and reports and making valid inferences using descriptive statistics and data trend analysis.
- Develop and maintain data tables and spreadsheets to store and manage data.
- Write or run predefined SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
- Reconcile data sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
- Meet virtually with internal customers to explain data sources and provide support as needed.
- Working collaboratively with Account Management, Sales Operations, Finance, Demand Planning, Technology Development, and Engineering Support teams to ensure an efficient business processes.
- Responding to critical production operational issues and following up with the application/ technical team for resolution.
- Coordinating with different teams on the integration points and bringing resolution to the problems.
- Recommending ideas to improve the overall process and ensure an efficient workflow.
- Updating documentation on all activities and deliverables.
