Tetra Tech Inc. Disaster Recovery (TDR) is currently hiring for remote Data Analysts. The Data Analyst will work with federal disaster recovery grant programs along with the Program Manager, subject matter experts, and review and reconcile data and generate reports for the Management Team.
The successful candidates will have extraordinary attention to minute detail and be responsible for executing and overseeing daily administrative, data entry, and reconciliation functions assigned to them under the supervision of the Data Supervisor. The Data Analyst will be responsible for reporting on key project metrics and summarizing data trends. This is a remote position and candidates will be responsible for maintaining adherence to Tetra Tech's remote work policy.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
oQA/QC reconciliation, application records, invoice records, and material use records for grant-funded programs
oCreate project reports based off aggregated program data as required by project
oCoordinate, review, analyze, and summarize financial data for grant-funded programs
oData cleansing and metric reporting from large datasets for project management needs
oAssist in evaluating the fiscal administration of grant programs
oPerform QA/QC review of financial documentation
oReconcile federal and state grants, cost estimates, audits, and other initiatives that support disaster recovery efforts
oAssist in workflow automations utilizing Microsoft SharePoint and Power Automate
oAssist in creation of project reporting utilizing Microsoft PowerBI or similar software
oProblem solves issues that arise in day-to-day running of business end user automation processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required
oBachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or computer science preferred
oAdvanced technical skills utilizing Microsoft Excel (PowerPivot and PowerQuery preferred)
oPrior experience with federal grant funding preferred
oFinance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Business Administrative background preferred
oOffice suite proficiency (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and Word) experience required
oAbility to quickly learn new software systems when needed
oAbility to create and maintain process automation documentation
oMust have proficient verbal and written communications skills with the ability to receive and execute instructions
oAbility to multi-task and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
oWork attentively with minimal supervision
oWorkdays in excess of 8 hours and/or weekend attendance may be required
oHave extraordinary attention to detail
oAdaptable to work on many different deliverables and maintain composure and professionalism
The ideal candidate will preferably have:
o2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, data analytics and/or business administration
Standard Schedule:
oThis is a temporary assignment expected to last 6 months.
oWork hours are 8 hours per day 5 days per week. 30 Minute Lunch & 2 Fifteen Minute Breaks. This may change based on program needs.
oWork on the weekend shifts is aniticpated.

This position with Tetra Tech is temporary and on an "as needed" basis and will end.It is understood that your employment is to be on an "at will" basis.
