Description
Summary/Objective Lead of Patient Advocate Team, responsible for standardized regular reporting and spotting and disseminating trends in data.
Successfully implement improvement project plans using accepted methodologies to support improvements to the clinic developed by leadership.
Work with leadership to define and closely follow department KPIs, develop reports, collect data, and track performance, assigning triggers for immediate attention to alerts, to include use of industry and clinic benchmarks.
Demonstrates appropriate fiscal management skills with administrative duties. Communication liaison between department and internal and external functions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities • Tracking of Quality Improvement and VBS projects and modeling positive change management skills and working to develop workflows and educate others during projects.
• Works with the VBS/Quality Improvement Director to convene various Quality Improvement committees and work groups. Works within a set agenda to drive desired meeting outcomes (based on contract and accreditation requirements) and ensure proper recording of committee activities and other meetings.
- Perform activities to comply with HEDIS data collection and analysis, preparing recommendations to increase rates as appropriate.
Competencies - Project Management skills related to data extraction, analytics, reporting, and business intelligence
- Knowledgeable of current trends in quality improvement in managed health care. Intermediate Other Knowledgeable of AAAHC, NCQA, HEDIS and CAHPS requirements.
- Analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are required to review systems, find flaws, and propose solutions to those flaws. Attention to detail is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings, and status reports. Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms. Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. Ability to handle stress. Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards.
- Organize and schedule appointments. Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients. Plan meetings and take detailed minutes.
- Develop and maintain a filing system. Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
