Data Analyst

Business Analyst (Local to Birmingham, AL Required)

We are seeking a skilled and data-driven Business Analyst to support multiple operational teams by delivering insights and actionable data. This role will focus on creating reports, refining existing tools, and integrating new technologies to improve business performance and decision-making.

Hybrid Work Schedule - Homewood, AL
Contract to Hire
Hourly Rate: $35 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business data, KPIs, and metrics using analytics tools
• Communicate findings clearly to influence stakeholders and support strategic decisions
• Develop and deliver reports using Power BI and SSRS with consumer usage in mind
• Identify process improvements and operational efficiencies through data modeling
• Support technology integration and tool implementation
• Collaborate across departments to connect data insights with real-world outcomes
• Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and change-driven environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and curiosity around data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SSMS preferred
• Skilled in data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Agile environment experience is a plus

Location Requirement:
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Birmingham, AL area.
