About the Position

As part of the Business Analytics team, the Data Analyst, Ticketing will be responsible for using data to garner insights and drive decisions in the ticketing space regarding pricing, budgeting, and ticket sales for both the Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew. They will play a crucial role in supporting and collaborating with the Ticket Sales, Ticket Operations, Finance, and Marketing teams for various ticketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead campaigns surrounding Season Pricing, Variable Pricing and Single Game Dynamic Pricing for both the Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew
  • Be a key contributor to strategic decision making in the ticketing space, coordinating with the Ticket Operations and Ticket Sales arms of the business
  • Create Tableau visualizations/Reports for any ticketing ad-hoc requests
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy across existing ticketing reports
Required Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of experience working with data and constructing data visualizations, preferably in Tableau
  • Proficient in SQL, preferably SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), experience with advanced Excel data functionality such as vlookup, pivot tables, & solver
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable and profitable opportunities for the business
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to find errors in data
  • Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly
Desired Skills
  • 1+ years of experience working with ticketing data or within a sports organization
  • Experience with a scripting language (R, Python, etc.)
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
  • This is a full-time position. Must be able to work flexible hours including some evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
  • This position will work at our headquarters, CrossCountry Mortgage Campus, in Berea, Ohio
