Title: Data Analyst - IT - III
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ - Only local candidates.
Duration: 12 Months - Contract
Overview:
We are seeking a Data & Analytics Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our organization. This role focuses on data extraction, analysis, and visualization to uncover key insights, track performance metrics, and optimize business outcomes. The ideal candidate has experience working with large datasets, SQL, and analytics platforms to support reporting, dashboard development, and ad hoc analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Extract and analyze data from various sources, providing visualization and insights into complex data structures.
- Develop, track, and refine fundamental performance metrics.
- Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards to monitor key program, provider, or client metrics.
- Manage data distribution processes to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and timeliness requirements.
- Collaborate across departments to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Assist with ad hoc data analysis and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience in data extraction, visualization, and analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL (intermediate level required); experience with Teradata or Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with Adobe and Google Tag Management Systems for tracking and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data trends and explain underlying drivers.
- Excellent time management, communication, and the ability to work independently.
Must-Have Skills:
- Adobe Analytics proficiency
- Google Analytics proficiency
- SQL experience
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
Education/Certifications:
- Required: Bachelor's degree
- Preferred: Master's degree in a quantitative field (Math, Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering
