Data Analyst II

Primary Skills: SQL-Advanced, PowerBI-Intermediate, Excel-Expert, Snowflake-Advanced, Scripting-Intermediate Contract Type: W2 Duration: 3+ Months (Strong Possible Extension) Location: Woodland Hills, CA - 91367/ Kansas City, KS 66111 (Onsite) Pay Range: $45 - $50 per hour Job Summary: Seeking a Data Analyst II to leverage data in addressing business needs, developing insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with business units to understand their objectives, extract and manipulate data from various sources, and deliver impactful reports and dashboards. This role is open to candidates within driving distance of Woodland Hills, CA or Kansas City for occasional meetings, though virtual candidates are considered. Key Responsibilities: Query and manipulate data to address specific business problems. Develop and maintain insightful Power BI dashboards. Automate reports using scripts and macros, ensuring data accuracy. Engage closely with certain business lines to support their data needs. Generate and present insights and recommendations based on report findings. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in SQL and PowerBI. Strong knowledge in Excel, including data formatting for business use. Ability to understand complex business needs and transform them into data-driven solutions. Preferred Experience: Medicare or healthcare industry experience. Experience working with new and unstructured data sets. Interview Process: Two rounds of interviews, including a skill demonstration (SQL and Power BI). Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
