Expertise in Power BI is essential; certification in Power BI or similar tools is a plus. Additionally, the role is crucial for ensuring the smooth promotion of reports and providing support for code deployment to production, ensuring a cohesive and effective data management ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, supporting senior analysts in the creation of insightful and accurate reports.
  • Provide expertise in DAX and other relevant formulas to enhance the quality and functionality of analytical reports.
  • Drive data quality by validating data & metrics calculations, surfacing quality issues, documenting metadata, and remediating data quality issues
  • Participate in regular code reviews, promoting engineering best practices, including reuse and testing
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to learn and adopt enterprise strategies and best practices.
  • Manage the seamless promotion of reports and code to production utilizing dbt and GitHub, ensuring a robust and efficient deployment process.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data-related best practices, documentation, and quality assurance processes.
  • Actively participate in troubleshooting and issue resolution related to data, code, and report generation.
Requirements
  • 2-5+ years of experience in data analysis, data wrangling, and data visualization.
  • 2-5+ years of proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Experience analyzing and breaking down problems and information using structured frameworks and methodologies.
  • Expertise cleansing and integrating data from disparate data sources
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies
  • Undergraduate degree in data analytics, mathematics, statistics, engineering or equivalent field, or equivalent experience.
Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Data Analyst to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

  • Robust skills in documentation creation, data analysis and mapping, SQL query writing with a high attention to detail including planning and organization.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation with an ability to focus on business priorities and imperatives.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel including use of pivot tables and VB macros.
  • Position requires reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance.
  • Experience working with large datasets and complex data environments.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
