Data Analyst 1

This position is for someone with 1-4 years of experience as a data analyst to support Georgia Power's Environmental Compliance Assurance team, primarily with data reporting. This position will report directly to the Environmental Compliance Assurance Manager and will be performed primarily onsite four days a week and remotely one day a week at Georgia Power's environmental laboratory located at 2480 Maner Road SE, Atlanta, GA 30339. Work may be performed occasionally as needed at other GPC sites throughout Georgia. Tasks
• As directed by the Environmental Compliance Assurance Manager, prepare reports and visualizations of environmental compliance assurance data in Enablon, primarily using Power BI
• Analyze Compliance Data Structure in Enablon and recommend changes to structure to seamlessly integrate data with Power BI using an existing ODATA connection
• Work with other Compliance Assurance and Environmental Affairs teammates to generally ensure a high data quality
• Update data as necessary to respond to change requests (tickets) from GPC business
• Support data gathering and cleansing for implementation of new Enablon functionality, such as waste management Qualifications
• Experience designing and implementing Power BI solutions, including experience with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
• Experience with enterprise data system implementation projects
• Experience with commercial Environmental Health & Safety and/or Sustainability software such as Enablon, Intellex, Cority, velocityEHS, Essential Suite, OpsInfo, etc. is a plus
• Knowledge of one or more environmental regulations related to water, air, or waste management is a plus
• Ability to be in office 4 days/week.
