Position Summary:

NexThreat LLC is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data Analysis Intern to join our team through the HUBZone Internship Program for Government Contractors. The Data Analysis Intern will engage in data analysis, visualization, and processing, utilizingstate-of-the-art tools and techniques to uncover insights and trends. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in data science, a solid understanding of statistical methods, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and organization of large datasets from various sources.

- Perform data analysis using statistical methods and software tools to uncover trends, correlations, and insights.

- Develop data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and data-driven decision-making.

- Support ongoing projects and initiatives, contributing to the overall data strategy and goals of NexThreat LLC.

Qualifications and Skills:

- HUBZone Residency (REQUIRED) Your primary work location and address must be in an area designated as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone).

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

- Familiarity with statistical methods and programming languages, such as R, Python, or SQL.

- Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
