The
Intermediate, Report Developer will provide technical competence and professional expertise supporting the University's operational enterprise reporting solution. The successful candidate will be able to create reports independently and under general supervision.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO Assist in analyzing and developing reports based on end-user requirements and specifications.
Create, modify, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and database queries.
Work with the software development team to define test plans, test cases, and perform testing to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered software solutions. Address and resolve issues identified during testing.
Assist in analyzing current business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in the development of strategies to meet performance goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve/promote team congeniality and disseminate information.
Prepare and maintain documentation outlining functional specifications, test cases, system requirements, user stories and use cases to effectively capture and communicate the proposed solutions and deliverables.

Minimum Hiring Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two years of relate experience, or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications: Familiarity with Ellucian Banner Enterprise Resource System
Demonstrated knowledge and experience (minimum 2-years) in coding Oracle and one or more relational database management systems such as MySQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle for efficient data retrieval in a complex scheme.
Able to independently design, create, optimize, troubleshoot and manipulate databases using Oracle SQL and ANSI SQL
Advanced experience with core database concepts and analysis
Experience with Argos or other reporting application tools, creating DataBlocks, Dashboards and Reports, Interactive Charts and APIs
Problem-solving skills; Attention to detail
Demonstrate ability to multi-task and plan for prioritizing workload within tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel skills
