Position: Data Administrator

Reports To: IT Director

FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary: $69k - $120k

SUMMARY:

The Data Administrator is responsible for entering, cleaning, and maintaining data in our ERP system to ensure the accuracy and integrity. This person further constructs reports based on ERP data. This role requires advanced proficiency in Excel, a strong understanding of data management processes, and a keen eye for detail to identify and resolve data discrepancies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data Management:

o Clean, validate, and input supply chain data into the ERP system.

o Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data entered into the system.

o Regularly audit data to identify and correct errors, redundancies, or inconsistencies.

• ERP System Administration:

o Assist in managing and updating relevant master file information in the ERP system.

o Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data entry, EDI or system errors.

o Coordinate with other departments to ensure the data is accurate and timely.

• Reporting and Analysis:

o Prepare and generate reports on performance metrics using Excel, Power BI and ERP data.

o Analyze trends in the data to identify areas for process improvement.

o Support decision-making with accurate and timely data analysis.

• Data Governance:

o Ensure compliance with data governance policies and practices.

o Provide support in maintaining proper data documentation and data dictionaries.

o Monitor data quality and work with the leadership team to implement corrective actions as needed.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 4+ years of experience in data management, EDI, data reporting, Power BI, or related fields.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, macros, etc.).

• Experience working with ERP systems.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data patterns and inconsistencies.

• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of supply chain processes and terminology.

• Experience with database management and data cleansing processes.

• Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools.

• Familiarity with EDI and EDI mapping is a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK CONDITIONS:

• Sitting: The role requires extended periods of sitting at a desk or workstation, with occasional breaks.

• Typing and Computer Work: Frequent use of a computer, including mouse, keyboard, and graphic design software, requiring dexterity and visual acuity.

• Vision: Ability to see clearly and distinguish fine details in design work and screen-based tasks for extended periods.

• Hearing and Speaking: Regular communication with colleagues, team members, and external partners through phone, video conferencing, and in-person meetings.

• Reaching: Occasional reaching for materials, equipment, and design tools within the office environment.

• Lifting: Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
