Wealth Preservation Associate Attorney / Mid-Level

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their Wealth Preservation Practice Group in Dallas (link removed) This is a compelling opportunity to work closely with a seasoned team of attorneys advising high-net-worth individuals and families on complex estate and tax planning matters.
Candidate Profile:
•
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
•
Active Bar Admission in Texas.
•
35 years of substantive experience in estate and wealth planning (link removed)>
•
AmLaw 200 experience required. Familiarity with the pace and expectations of a sophisticated law firm environment is necessary.
•
Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning , probate , and trust administration , with a deep understanding of estate tax , gift tax , and generation-skipping transfer tax (link removed)>
•
Demonstrated ability to prepare complex estate planning documents, including wills , revocable trusts , powers of attorney , and lifetime irrevocable trusts (link removed)>
•
Proficient in drafting and reviewing gift and estate tax returns (link removed)>
•
Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Advise clients on sophisticated estate and business planning strategies, including wealth transfer, charitable planning, and trust administration.
•
Draft estate planning documents tailored to the unique goals of high-net-worth clients, including multigenerational planning structures.
•
Manage the preparation and filing of federal gift and estate tax returns.
•
Collaborate with fiduciaries, financial advisors, and accountants to implement estate planning strategies and ensure tax compliance.
•
Assist in the administration of estates and trusts, including probate proceedings and ongoing fiduciary duties.
