We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in D365 Finance and Operations (F&O). This role will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing business processes, and implementing system solutions with a focus on finance and accounting functionalities within D365 F&O. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are designed and executed in alignment with business objectives and financial standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis efforts for D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) projects, focusing on finance and accounting modules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand finance and accounting needs, translating those into system requirements and process improvements.
- Map business processes and identify areas of improvement within the finance and accounting functions using D365 F&O.
- Conduct gap analysis and work with technical teams to design and configure solutions that meet business needs.
- Support the implementation of D365 F&O, providing functional guidance and troubleshooting support during the project lifecycle.
- Document functional specifications, process flows, and detailed use cases.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in training end-users on the finance and accounting functionalities of D365 F&O.
- Support the development and deployment of system updates, enhancements, and integrations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, financial regulations, and internal controls related to D365 F&O finance processes.
- Work with the IT team to ensure system performance, security, and ongoing optimization of D365 F&O for finance and accounting.
- Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, specifically in the finance and accounting modules (eg, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank, Budgeting).
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in business analysis for large-scale ERP implementations, particularly in finance and accounting processes.
- Expertise in business process mapping, requirements gathering, and system configuration.
- Experience with SQLPower BI, or other reporting tools for financial data analysis.
- Familiarity with integration of D365 F&O with third-party financial systems and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior analysts or team members in business analysis processes.
